Kia ora readers,
Team Kereru had a wonderful experience on Sunday 4th August. The students, along with Matua Atama and Miss Halina embarked on an adventure to Motatapu Island. We had to catch an early morning ferry there, and the weather was beautiful! Our purpose was to plant some trees to restore the land on Motatapu. It was such a great authentic learning experience for our kids. We are so proud of how they challenged themselves and stepped out of their comfort zones. We planted a whopping 190 trees!!! VERY IMPRESSIVE! Have you ever planted trees before?
